About Community Services

Welcome to the Adventist Community Services page!

Adventist Community Services is a relatively new department at the Beavercreek Seventh-day Church. As such, we are still working on developing our program to serve our local community.

The following is a brief overview of what Adventist Community Services is:

Adventist Community Services (ACS) is the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the United States and Bermuda.

ACS has six main ministries through which the church serves its local communities

  • Youth Empowered to Serve (YES!)
  • Community Development
  • Disaster Response
  • Crisis Care
  • Elder Care
  • Tutoring and Mentoring

For more detailed information on these ministries please visit the National ACS website.

If you are looking for another humanitarian organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist church that serves other nations please see the Adventist Development and Relief Agency.

“Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Savior mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, “Follow Me.” – Ellen G. White Ministry of Healing page 143
